The American Studies Consortium is a Rackham Interdisciplinary Workshop at the University of Michigan. We bring together faculty and graduate students from multiple departments, united by an interest in the history, literature, and culture of the Americas. Throughout the year, we host events designed to foster the cross-disciplinary investigation of American cultural production, including visiting scholars, workshops, panels, and conferences.

We welcome interest and participation from any student or faculty member interested in American history, literature, and culture. Our events are open to all members of the University of Michigan.
